hey everyone

Good morning good morning!

I trust this finds you well.

I'm still a student at Southwestern College, nearing the foreboding graduation (God willing, to be  within a year).  In my time here, I've gotten to meet various builders who are active in ministry, and are very willing to share with me their wonderful experiences from their recollections of years past (in the recent and not too recent years past).

Meeting other builders (especially those in ministry) has been an encouragement to me (and other students), especially in person (as opposed to just meeting online, like here, but it's all good too=).

Anyway, the students atSouthwestern College are still kept plenty busy being involved (or overcommitted, as professors would sometimes comment that they are). There is always a artsy fartsy performance by one of the various musically talented groups (e.g. A Capella choir, orchestra, jazz combos, theatre), just this week, the theatre produced a spectacularly dramatic production called "Urinetown" (supposedly a pun on 'You're in Town').

But yet, there is also a lot of service done for the community by the school. Both leadership and discipleship students serve the community here in the various activities/events they plan both on and off campus.

Our campus is also striving to go green, along with the national effort across universities and colleges all across the US, in the country's attempt to Go Green!!!

There’s been numerous small groups set up in the past few semesters, as well as the established groups like The One Thing (TOT) and prayer group who are also growing from strength to strength. Just recently, a new group for guys, known as Manistry (it was picked over some other not as good choices) has been set up.

With all the fellowship that’s going on in Southwestern College, we would be glad if anyone came to visit with us to learn and grow together, from one another.

Yours truly,

Albert O. II
