4/11/12 Chapel -- Rev. Kristi Singer

On April 11, 2012, Rev. Kristi Singer from GracePointe Assembly of God in Winfield spoke at chapel. Her message was entitled "We are Family!" The chapel community had a fun day as they took awkward family photos at a chapel photo booth, listened to special music from the "Children of Eden" cast and listened to Rev. Kristi. 4/4/12 Chapel -- Dr. Dawn Pleas-Bailey

On April 4, 2012, Dr. Dawn Pleas-Bailey spoke at chapel. Last semester, she talked about the things that she hated and how God helps all of us move past those things. 3/28/12 Chapel -- Dr. Meredith Minister

On March 28, 2012, Dr. Meredith Minister spoke at chapel. Meredith is the current Instructing and Visiting scholar for the Institute of Discipleship. She talked with the community about how good intentions can go awry. This is often caused by ignorance. 3/7/12 Chapel -- Rev. Ashlee Alley

On March 7, 2012, Rev. Ashlee Alley spoke at chapel. Her message was entitled "Moving from a Nighttime Disciple into the Light." She preached from John 3 and reminded us to let God constantly and consistently be our guide and vision. To listen, click here.

2/15/12 Chapel - Rev. Rick Just

On February 15, 2012, Rev. Rick Just spoke at Black Light/White Chapel. We put sixteen black lights in Messengers and asked students to where white shirts! It was a fun, elemental chapel. Rev. Just reminded us to Resolve to Love and Unite to Serve by doing five things: getting over ourselves, being completely dedicated, being willing to obey, following Jesus and loving God and others. 2/8/12 Chapel -- Ms. Amanda Beadle

On February 8, 2012, Ms. Amanda Beadle spoke at chapel. Amanda is the Head Athletic trainer at Southwestern College. She shared a very important testimony with the campus about how often times it feels like God is absent, but God walks with us every step of the way. To listen, click here.

2/1/12 Chapel -- Dr. Cheryl Rude

On February 1, 2012, Dr. Cheryl Rude spoke at chapel. The start of February also brought in some different fun elements to chapel. We had glow stick chapel with worship from World Witness Team. 1/25/12 Chapel -- Rev. Rodney Worsham

On January 25, 2012, Rev. Rodney Worsham spoke at chapel. Rev. Worsham encouraged the chapel community to consider the importance of forgiveness and to forgive those around them. This week at chapel, Rev. Ashlee Alley spoke and our community was led in musical worship by an alumni worship team. Rev. Ashlee Alley spoke about remembering God's faithfulness and trusting in Him for greater things. On October 5, 2011 Rev. Kendal Utt spoke at chapel. As an SC alumnus, Rev. Utt was back for homecoming and he encouraged the community with Hebrews 11:32-12:2. His message was titled "They're All in the Stands," and he reminded the chapel community to remember that those who have gone before are continually rooting the SC family on in work, fun and faith.
