Builders in Ministry's new blog

The builders in ministry blog is a place for alumni and friends of Southwestern College in all forms of ministry to share their ministry with others for encouragement, mutual support, networking, possible collaboration, and fellowship. The dream is that the love and learning of Builders in Ministry week can continue all year round. Also, we have a common pilgramage as Builders and athough we are scattered accross the globe we are still one in our desire to serve the Lord. Please come to the blog with a summary of your ministry and invite others to join in.

  3. Welcome to the Builders In Ministry blog! This is here for YOU - a way to stay connected!! We all go so many different directions in our lives and work. Often a simple hello from a comrade is enough to get us through a hard day.
Please use this blog to share what is going on in your life and ministry. If you have an event going on - share it! If you’re taking your youth group somewhere, let the group know, there may be an opportunity for a greater outreach than you originally thought! Ever think of joining forces with other youth groups where numbers are needed to complete a mission project – here’s a starting point!! The opportunities are endless!
I would like to take a moment of your time to introduce myself for those of you I didn’t have to opportunity to meet at Builders In Ministry Week.
I’m Julie Headrick, the new Director of Camps and Conferences. I feel privileged to be a part of Southwestern College and am excited about the opportunities I’ll have to meet the many dynamic individuals that make Southwestern what it is.
We’ve also established a Facebook Builders In Ministry group page where you can connect with fellow Builders and share the kiddo’s pictures and talk about what ever is on your mind.
If you have any questions or anything I can assist you with, please don’t hesitate to give me a call at 620-229-6141 or 1-800-846-1543 ext. 6141 or email me at dir.campconf@sckans.edu.

  5. Hello Fellow Builders!
Currently, I am attending seminary at Princeton Theological Seminary where I am enrolled in the dual degree program working on a M.Div. and a M.A. in Youth Ministry. I've connected with a wonderful United Methodist Church in Kingston, N.J. where I will do my field education next summer. I'm always looking forward to opportunities to connect with fellow Builders in Ministry!
    Be God's,
    Wendy Mohler
